Ingredients

  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (thyme, parsley) to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet with a little olive oil or butter until golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, drained tuna, sautéed mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and cheddar cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly, adding extra cheese on top.
