- 1/4 cup fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour/cornstarch as substitutes)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate chicken pieces with garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until fluffy, then add flour to form a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a skillet until shimmering.
- Dip each chicken piece in the batter and fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with tofu or pulled jackfruit. Ensure oil temperature is right to avoid soggy rolls.
