Description

Delicious crispy tacos filled with seasoned chicken and fresh vegetables, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced chicken with minced garlic and grated ginger until cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Add soy sauce and finely chopped vegetables, and stir for another 2-3 minutes.
  2. Assemble the wontons: Place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold like a triangle, and seal tightly.
  3. Fry the wontons: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs and your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure oil is at the right temperature for frying. Drain excess oil to maintain crispiness.
