Description
Delicious crispy tacos filled with seasoned chicken and fresh vegetables, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced chicken with minced garlic and grated ginger until cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Add soy sauce and finely chopped vegetables, and stir for another 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble the wontons: Place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold like a triangle, and seal tightly.
- Fry the wontons: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs and your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
Ensure oil is at the right temperature for frying. Drain excess oil to maintain crispiness.
