- 2 Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced

- 1 tsp fresh or dried sage
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- Optional: splash of apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- Sear the Pork Chops: Sear the pork chops in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown on both sides.
- Layer the Ingredients: In the Crock Pot, add the apple slices, followed by the onion and minced garlic. Place the seared pork chops on top, sprinkle with spices and herbs, and pour broth around the edges.
- Cook Low and Slow: Cover and set the Crock Pot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Finishing Touches: Taste and adjust seasoning 30 minutes before serving, adding honey or brown sugar if necessary.
