A delightful, festive jam made with cranberries and oranges, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 4 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 large oranges (zested and juiced)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice (or nutmeg)
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems. Zest the oranges before juicing them, and set aside.
- In the crockpot, combine cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, sugar, lemon juice, and spices. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and set your crockpot on low for about 4-6 hours or until the cranberries burst and the jam thickens. Stir once or twice during cooking.
- Check the consistency; if it’s too runny, cook for an additional 30 minutes without the lid.
- Once ready, let the jam cool before transferring it to jars. Refrigerate for up to two weeks.
Notes
For best results, taste and adjust sweetness or spice level as desired while cooking. You can substitute maple syrup for sugar if preferred.
