Deliciously sweet and spicy candied pecans cooked in a Crockpot, perfect for holiday gatherings.

- 3 cups pecans
- 1/2 cup Fireball Whisky
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Pecans: Add the pecans to the crockpot. Optional: Toast them lightly in a skillet.
- Combine the Sugars and Spices: In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the Fireball Whisky and Butter: Melt the butter and mix it with the Fireball Whisky. Pour over the pecans along with the sugar-cinnamon mix and stir until well-coated.
- Cooking Time: Cover and set the crockpot to low for 2.5 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Cooling Off: Pour pecans onto parchment paper to cool.
- Storing: Store cooled pecans in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
Notes
To enhance flavor, consider toasting the nuts and adding spices like cayenne pepper for an extra kick.
