Ingredients

- 2 cups Nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the nuts until fragrant and slightly golden.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sugar and continuously stir until it bubbles and turns golden caramel.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Add the toasted nuts and mix until well coated.
- Spread the caramel-coated nuts on the prepared baking tray and let cool completely.
- Once cool, break the praline into bite-sized pieces and store them in an airtight container.
Notes
These pralines can last up to two weeks in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
