- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup Reeses pieces
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Stir until just combined; lumps are okay!
- Spoon dollops of peanut butter throughout the batter and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Gently fold in Reeses pieces.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with a glaze made of powdered sugar and milk, and top with extra Reeses pieces.
- Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
For added creativity, substitute chocolate cake mix with a vanilla mix for a different flavor. Can be made gluten-free with appropriate cake mix.
