Description

These heart-shaped chocolate swirl cheesecake bites are rich, creamy, and perfect for celebrating love on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a heart-shaped baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Gradually add sugar, mixing until combined; then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Gently fold in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, heavy cream, and a tablespoon of sugar to create the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour half of the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan, dollop spoonfuls of chocolate mixture over it, and swirl gently with a knife. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until the edges are set but the center has a slight jiggle.
  8. Let cool at room temperature for an hour, then chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours before serving.

Notes

For variations, you can use mascarpone instead of cream cheese or Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.
