Ingredients
- Flatbread (store-bought or homemade)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
- Hot honey
- Olive oil
- Fresh garlic cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté thinly sliced mushrooms with minced garlic until golden. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the flatbread on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil.
- Spread shredded mozzarella over the flatbread, add sautéed mushrooms, and drizzle hot honey on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbling and edges are crispy.
- Remove from oven, drizzle additional hot honey, and top with fresh herbs.
- Slice and serve while hot.
Notes
For a healthier twist, whole wheat flatbread can be used, and other toppings like roasted bell peppers or caramelized onions can be added.
