Ingredients

- 1 pound ground meat (beef or turkey, or a mixture)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, minced onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and half of the cranberry sauce. Season with salt and pepper and mix gently.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until browned.
- While baking, heat the remaining cranberry sauce in a saucepan until warmed through.
- Once cooked, coat the meatballs with the glaze in a large bowl.
- Serve on a festive platter and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute ground meat with tofu or tempeh. Don’t skip the glazing step, which adds a festive finish.
