Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggnog, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Slowly combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- For the crumb topping, mix together flour, sugar, and softened butter until crumbly. Optionally add chopped nuts or oats.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with crumb topping, and bake for 55-65 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Make sure to avoid overmixing the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy. Serve warm for best flavor.
