Description

A harmonious blend of crunchy cabbage, tart cranberries, and sweet apples in a creamy dressing, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 medium apples, chopped (Granny Smith recommended)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 12 tablespoons honey (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely shred the cabbage and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Chop the apples into matchstick pieces or small cubes, keeping the skin on.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Stir until well blended.
  4. Add the prepared cabbage, apples, shredded carrots, and dried cranberries to the mixing bowl.
  5. Pour the creamy dressing over the coleslaw mix and toss until everything is coated. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. This coleslaw is best enjoyed fresh but can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days.
