Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, spices, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the candied fruits and nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, leveling it out with a spatula.
- Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
