Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the pecan halves and mix well to coat them in the melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle in the brown sugar and salt, stirring continuously until the sugar begins to liquefy.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
