- 2 cups pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, salt, and vanilla until smooth and bubbly.
- Fold in the pecans until well-coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy twist or using maple extract instead of vanilla for a unique flavor.
