- 1 lb ground meat (beef and pork or turkey/chicken)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup sriracha (for sauce)
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Chopped cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining sriracha, honey, and soy sauce in a saucepan. Heat until bubbly.
- Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, use ground turkey or chicken. You can also substitute breadcrumbs with crushed pork rinds for a low-carb version.
