Description

Juicy steak bites seared to perfection and drizzled with spicy chili butter, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 23 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 12 tsp chili flakes or fresh chili, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, parsley, or chives for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the steak by cutting into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Carefully add steak bites to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes without moving.
  6. Turn to cook on all sides for a total of around 8-10 minutes for medium-rare.
  7. Sprinkle with chili flakes or fresh chopped chili as they finish cooking.
  8. Remove from heat, drizzle with more melted butter, and toss with fresh herbs. Serve warm.

Notes

Use high heat for a good sear and don’t overcrowd the pan. Let the steak rest after cooking for better tenderness.
