Description
Juicy steak bites seared to perfection and drizzled with spicy chili butter, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2–3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1–2 tsp chili flakes or fresh chili, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, parsley, or chives for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prep the steak by cutting into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Carefully add steak bites to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes without moving.
- Turn to cook on all sides for a total of around 8-10 minutes for medium-rare.
- Sprinkle with chili flakes or fresh chopped chili as they finish cooking.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with more melted butter, and toss with fresh herbs. Serve warm.
Notes
Use high heat for a good sear and don’t overcrowd the pan. Let the steak rest after cooking for better tenderness.
