Description
Savory steak bites seared to perfection and coated in a rich chili butter for an unforgettable flavor experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb tender steak (like sirloin or filet mignon), cut into bite-size pieces
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp chili butter (softened butter mixed with fresh minced chili peppers and herbs)
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro), chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for searing
Instructions
- Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a splash of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak bites in a single layer, searing for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned but still rare in the center.
- In a bowl, prepare the chili butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, chopped chilies, and herbs. Add lime juice for extra flavor.
- Remove the cooked steak bites and let them rest. In the same skillet, reduce the heat, add the chili butter, and melt while stirring to mix with the bits left from the steak.
- Toss the rested steak bites in the melted chili butter until fully coated and serve immediately with additional herbs and lime wedges.
