Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until creamy and smooth. Set aside.
  2. Hull and slice the strawberries into thin pieces.
  3. Take two slices of bread, spread a generous layer of cream cheese mixture on one slice, and layer the sliced strawberries on top. Top with the other slice of bread to make sandwiches.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined.
  5. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
