Ingredients
Scale
- Thick bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring thorough coverage, and fry in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden and crispy.
- Remove from skillet, dust with cinnamon sugar, slice on the diagonal, and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese. Use different fruits like blueberries or raspberries if desired.
