Ingredients
- Beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- Fresh asparagus
- Garlic
- Butter
- Soy sauce
- Salt
- Pepper
- Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin, even strips and season with salt and pepper.
- Melt a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, then set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add asparagus and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan and add soy sauce and another tablespoon of butter. Toss to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
