Description

Ingredients

  • Beef (sirloin or flank steak)
  • Fresh asparagus
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into thin, even strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add asparagus and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and add soy sauce and another tablespoon of butter. Toss to combine.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
