Delicious and flaky pastry bombs filled with seasoned ground beef, garlic, cheese, and a touch of parmesan, perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 package of rolls or puff pastry
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives), for garnish
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp melted butter, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Mix in cheddar cheese and fresh herbs, and let cool slightly.
- Roll out pastry to ¼ inch thick and cut into 4-inch circles.
- Place a dollop of meat filling in the center of each circle, fold over and seal edges tightly.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan.
- Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Serve warm with dipping sauces of choice.
Notes
For an extra kick, try using pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar. These bombs freeze well; assemble and freeze unbaked, then add extra cooking time when baking from frozen.
