- 2 pounds potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel (if desired) the potatoes, then cut them into even cubes, about 1 to 1.5 inches.
- Mince the garlic cloves finely.
- In a large bowl, combine potato cubes, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, and olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs. Serve hot.
Notes
Ensure potatoes are cut uniformly for even cooking. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
