- 4 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 bell pepper (any color), chopped
- 1 medium zucchini, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (basil, thyme, or parsley), for garnish
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Wash and chop all your veggies into bite-sized pieces. Keep garlic cloves whole or mince them.
- Heat the skillet: Place your skillet on medium heat and add olive oil or butter until bubbly.
- Sauté the garlic: Add garlic to the hot oil and let it sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the vegetables: Toss in bell peppers and mushrooms, stirring to coat in the garlic oil. After a few minutes, add the zucchini.
- Season and sauté: Once the vegetables are tender, season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Finish with fresh herbs: Just before serving, stir in fresh herbs for an aromatic touch.
- Serve immediately: Enjoy hot, straight from the skillet!
