Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
- In another large bowl, combine sugar, molasses, oil, eggs, and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Turn the cake onto a powdered sugar-dusted towel and roll it tightly while warm.
- Prepare the frosting and unroll the cake to spread frosting on top, then re-roll it.
- Frost the outside and dust with powdered sugar to resemble snow.
