Description
A delightful blend of caramelized pears and creamy burrata that creates a dish full of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 ripe pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey or balsamic glaze
- Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- Slice the pears into thin rounds, about 4-6 slices per serving.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once heated, add the sliced pears in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until browning.
- Drizzle honey or balsamic glaze on top in the last minute and stir gently to coat.
- On a serving plate, layer two to three slices of caramelized pear, followed by a dollop of burrata. Continue stacking as desired.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. If using, sprinkle toasted nuts on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute burrata with fresh mozzarella or ricotta. Ensure that the pears are ripe but firm for the best texture.
