Description
Delicious towers of golden caramelized pears layered with creamy burrata, drizzled with honey and fresh herbs, a perfect dish for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe Bosc or Anjou pears
- 8 oz fresh burrata
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- Fresh thyme or basil for garnish
- Balsamic reduction (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the pears into quarters or eighths and discard the cores.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced pears and sauté for 4-5 minutes until caramelized and golden brown.
- Drizzle in the honey during the last minute of cooking to enhance sweetness.
- While the pears are cooking, plate the burrata in the center of your serving dish.
- Arrange the caramelized pears atop the burrata.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and drizzle with balsamic reduction before serving.
Notes
Avoid cutting pears too thin to ensure they hold up during cooking. Fresh herbs should be added just before serving to retain their flavor.
