- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and blend until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown but the centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
To maintain the gooeyness, do not overmix the dough and keep an eye on baking time. For storage, place a slice of bread in an airtight container with the cookies to keep them soft.
