Description

A tangy and flavorful chicken dish marinated in Greek yogurt, garlic, and fresh herbs, ideal for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 23 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or oregano)
  • Boneless chicken (breasts or thighs)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and fresh herbs.
  2. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Place chicken in a large bag or bowl, and pour the marinade over it; massage gently to coat.
  4. Seal or cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  6. If grilling, oil the grates and grill chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through; if baking, place on a lined baking sheet and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Overnight marinating enhances flavor. Always let the chicken rest after cooking to keep it juicy.
