Ingredients

- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar for icing
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Warm the milk until lukewarm, sprinkle yeast on top, and let bloom for 5-10 minutes.
- Mix flour, sugar, and nutmeg in a bowl, then stir in melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth, about 8 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about an hour.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the filling. Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly, slice into rounds, and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden and puffy.
- For icing, mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk and vanilla until desired consistency. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
These rolls can be frozen before baking. Prepare and cut, freeze on a baking sheet, and store in a freezer bag until ready to bake.
