- 1 package ready-made puff pastry
- 8 slices of ham (smoked or roasted)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for surface)
- Herbs and spices (black pepper, garlic powder, fresh herbs)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll it out gently.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide by 6 inches long.
- Place a slice of ham and a sprinkle of cheese on one end of each strip. Add fresh herbs if desired.
- Roll each strip towards the other end to encase the filling and seal with a pinch.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
