  • 8 slices of ham (smoked or roasted)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for surface)
  • Herbs and spices (black pepper, garlic powder, fresh herbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll it out gently.
  3. Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide by 6 inches long.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a sprinkle of cheese on one end of each strip. Add fresh herbs if desired.
  5. Roll each strip towards the other end to encase the filling and seal with a pinch.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
