Ingredients

  • Ham (smoked or honey-baked)
  • Cheese (mozzarella and sharp cheddar)
  • Buttery dough or puff pastry
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or chives)
  • Garlic powder
  • Dipping sauce (homemade marinara or honey mustard)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your chosen dough on a clean surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles, about 3 inches wide.
  4. Layer a piece of ham and cheese on one half of each square (two slices of ham and one slice of cheese).
  5. Sprinkle with herbs and garlic powder.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and press down the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
