- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright pink on one side.
- Flip the shrimp over, drizzle in honey and citrus juice, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped herbs over, and stir gently to combine.
- Serve hot over rice or with a salad.
Notes
For added spice, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes during cooking or a splash of coconut milk for richness.
