Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1 cup steamed whole milk (or almond/oat milk for dairy-free)
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • Milk foam
  • Cocoa powder or nutmeg for topping

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso.
  2. Steam the milk until it reaches about 150°F (65°C).
  3. If using homemade hazelnut syrup, blend equal parts toasted hazelnuts and sugar with water and simmer until thickened.
  4. In a pre-warmed mug, pour the espresso shot and add hazelnut syrup.
  5. Pour in the steamed milk and top with milk foam.
  6. Sprinkle with cocoa powder, nutmeg, or cinnamon.
  7. Savor and enjoy your delicious Hazelnut Cappuccino.

Notes

For best results, use freshly ground coffee and avoid boiling the milk for a creamy texture.
