Description

Fluffy pancakes made with wholesome oats and tart apples, perfect for a nourishing breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 large apple, chopped
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and chop the apples into small pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and honey (or maple syrup).
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Let the batter sit for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, or yogurt.

Notes

Letting the batter rest helps achieve lighter pancakes. Use a ladle for even sizes.
