Scale
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- In another bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined, careful not to overmix.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased dish, smoothing it into an even layer.
- Dollop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter on top, creating swirls, then sprinkle the remaining chocolate batter over it.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the cake cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm for the best gooey texture.
