Description

Delicious homemade cake donuts bursting with blueberries, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Fold in the blueberries.
  5. Fill each section of the donut pan about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, dip warm donuts in melted butter and roll in cinnamon-sugar.
