Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until blended.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry until no dry bits remain.
- Roll out dough to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into donut shapes.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.
- Transfer to paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Create a glaze with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla; dip donuts and add toppings.
