Description
Delicious homemade peppermint patties with a refreshing burst of peppermint and a smooth chocolate coating.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
- 8 ounces Dark Chocolate or Milk Chocolate
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- Combine sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract in a large bowl until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until it forms a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick, cut out patties, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the patties for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Dip each patty into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, and place back on parchment.
- Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.
Notes
Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top of the chocolate for added crunch and decoration.
