Description
A delightful and comforting dish featuring tender pork chops cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 thick-cut Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Butter
- Fresh Herbs (such as thyme or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and mustard until smooth.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil or melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops, searing them until golden brown on each side, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the pork chops, reduce the heat to medium, and let it simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes, turning the chops occasionally.
- Once the pork is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F), remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and let it rest before serving.
Notes
Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet to ensure proper searing. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking the pork.
