Description

A comforting dish featuring juicy pork chops seared to perfection and coated in a luscious honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chops to a plate, then add garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Stir in honey and soy sauce, scraping the bottom of the skillet to incorporate all the flavor bits.
  5. Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve with a drizzle of sauce and garnish with herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, allow pork chops to rest before cooking and avoid overcrowding the skillet.
