Description

A delightful Honey Garlic Salmon recipe that marries sweet and savory flavors, perfect for family gatherings and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or chives) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, allowing to soak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan. Sear for about 4–5 minutes without moving them.
  3. Gently flip the fillets and pour remaining marinade over the top. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Sprinkle fresh herbs on top and serve with sautéed greens and rice pilaf.

Notes

Ensure the skillet is hot enough to achieve a crispy edge. Don’t overcrowd the pan to prevent steaming.
