- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh herbs (parsley or chives) for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, allowing to soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan. Sear for about 4–5 minutes without moving them.
- Gently flip the fillets and pour remaining marinade over the top. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs on top and serve with sautéed greens and rice pilaf.

Ensure the skillet is hot enough to achieve a crispy edge. Don’t overcrowd the pan to prevent steaming.
