- 4 cups fresh corn (or frozen/canned)
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk (or cream)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh corn, cut it off the cob. Measure out frozen or canned corn.
- In a mixing bowl, combine corn, melted butter, honey, milk (or cream), eggs, sugar, and seasonings. Stir gently.
- Pour mixture into a buttered 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Allow the casserole to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
