Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mini marshmallows if using.
  7. Drop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between (about 2 inches apart).
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
