A traditional Thanksgiving favorite, this creamy pecan pie brings nostalgia and flavor to your holiday celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped cream
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pre-made graham cracker crust or flaky pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the crust by mixing crushed graham crackers with melted butter, then pressing into a pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gently mix in the pecans, ensuring even distribution.
- Spoon the cream filling into the cooled crust and smooth it out. Add extra pecans on top if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
- Slice and serve chilled, optionally topping with whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
Notes
For variations, consider using walnuts instead of pecans or Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese for a lighter option.
