A flavorful and tender pulled beef sandwich perfect for gatherings, topped with crunchy coleslaw.

- 2 lb Beef Chuck Roast
- 1 Onion, diced
- 4 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Coleslaw mix or homemade coleslaw for topping
- Buns for serving
Instructions
- Sear the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes until caramelized.
- Transfer beef to slow cooker. Sauté onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes then add to slow cooker.
- Pour BBQ sauce, liquid smoke, and brown sugar over the beef.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred beef and mix with sauce.
- Prepare coleslaw by mixing cabbage, carrots, mayo, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Toast buns, pile on beef, and top with coleslaw.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For variations, substitute beef with pulled pork or chicken, and for a vegetarian version, use jackfruit or marinated tofu.
