- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes or fresh chili, diced
- 1 cup plain yogurt (whole or Greek)
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water, then gently lower the eggs in with a slotted spoon. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
- While the eggs cook, mix yogurt and minced garlic in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir in chopped herbs.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add chili flakes and garlic. Sauté until garlic is golden, about 1 minute.
- Transfer cooked eggs to an ice bath, then peel gently.
- On a serving plate, spread garlic yogurt, top with halved eggs, and drizzle chili butter over the top.
- Garnish with additional fresh herbs and serve immediately.
