Description

A delightful combination of creamy, jammy eggs paired with spicy chili butter and tangy garlic yogurt, perfect for a cozy brunch or light lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes or fresh chili, diced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (whole or Greek)
  • Fresh herbs (dill or parsley), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of water, then gently lower the eggs in with a slotted spoon. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
  2. While the eggs cook, mix yogurt and minced garlic in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir in chopped herbs.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add chili flakes and garlic. Sauté until garlic is golden, about 1 minute.
  4. Transfer cooked eggs to an ice bath, then peel gently.
  5. On a serving plate, spread garlic yogurt, top with halved eggs, and drizzle chili butter over the top.
  6. Garnish with additional fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor; adjust garlic and chili to your taste. Serve with toasted bread or a fresh salad.
