Description

Delightful dessert cups filled with sweet strawberries and fluffy whipped cream atop buttery biscuits, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Additional sugar for marinating strawberries
  • Heavy cream for whipped topping
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add milk until the dough forms, mixing until just combined.
  5. Spoon the dough into greased muffin tins, filling them 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Cut strawberries and sprinkle with sugar; let sit for 15 minutes to macerate.
  8. Once the cups have cooled, hollow out the center slightly.
  9. Spoon marinated strawberries into each cup and top with whipped cream.
  10. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.

Notes

Ensure butter is cold for flaky biscuits. Allow strawberries to sit for better flavor integration.
