Description
A flavorful and hearty dish featuring marinated beef served with fresh vegetables and rice.
Ingredients
- Tender Beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- Soy Sauce
- Sugar (brown or white)
- Garlic (freshly minced)
- Ginger (freshly minced)
- Pear (for marinade)
- Sesame Oil
- Vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, green onions)
- Rice (jasmine or brown)
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add thinly sliced beef and allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prep Your Veggies: While the beef soaks up the flavors, slice your vegetables for a bright and colorful presentation.
- Heat the Pan: In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in batches for a nice sear, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook to Perfection: Sauté the beef until browned, about 3–4 minutes. In the last minute, add the stir-fry vegetables to soften slightly.
- Assemble Your Bowls: Start with a scoop of rice, top with savory beef and vegetables, and garnish as desired.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy fresh from the skillet.
Notes
For a vegetarian twist, substitute beef with tofu or shiitake mushrooms. You can also experiment with different vegetables based on availability.
