  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by mincing garlic and chopping herbs, and setting aside lemon zest and juice.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper, sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, then add in lemon zest and juice; stir and scrape bits from the skillet.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, spoon some sauce over it, and let it soak in for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle fresh herbs just before serving and stir to combine.

Notes

Let the chicken rest after cooking for juicier meat. Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
